La fête des morts - Haïti, 2011
Early morning, the sun rises slowly and the cimetery's fence is still closed. People around tell us that cimetery's workers are striking... I guess they choosed the best time. Because today and tomorrow, most of the Haitians are celebrating the dead. They visit families' graves and they bring together in order to pray. Among thoses prayers, some fancy guys roam, men named the "gédés". Someone tells me that through the gédés, it s possible to talk to dead relatives. That process is part of the Voodoo's religion. One of them is standing in front of the cimetery fence. That gédé is acting funny and a couple of people whisper in his ear.A few minutes later, the fence is open! People rushes inside. So do I...
